I smell the rose in her hair

Just because SOPA is off the agenda in the House doesn't mean it's off the radar, and PIPA is still in committee in the Senate. These bills are about greed in the entertainment industry. There may be entertaining things on the internet, but the internet itself is so much more than entertainment.
